Title

1986 Puddledock Photo Of Mabel Amsden With Apple Head Dolls

Description

From the July 1986 Puddledock article with the photo:

"When she's not keeping us informed of Orchard Circle's happenings, Mabel Amsden is busy nonetheless. Mabel has been making apple head dolls for 2o years now. No two are alike and all are original designs with costumes authenticated in that era. The faces and ideas for costumes come to Mabel from everywhere. Recently she got an idea for a temperance woman from a church sermon. She gets all her friends, relatives and neighbors involved in her quest for miniatures, etc. for her creations. While having her personal favorites, Mabel makes many dolls to sell. Anyone interested in seeing her collection is welcome to contact her at 755-2580."

These photos are stored together. They are from different periods of time. Last pulled together for possible use in July 1986.
