First Baptist Church of Farmington
This First Baptist Church of Farmington was built in 1835, as a home for the growing Baptist congregation in Farmington, New Hampshire, and completed thwe following season. The meetings were at first held in barns and dwelling houses, and subsequently in School Houses, in different neighborhoods, and a part of the time in what is now the Court House, which was for many years the only Meeting House in the center of the town, and which was owned by six or seven different societies.
