This collection focuses on coins, tokens, & promotional disks. These items can be made of almost any substance and can be an amalgamation of several substances. They are mainly used for monetary exchange, travel, short distance passage marking, or advertisement or marketing purposes, but some may have other uses.. Generally, they are small enough to fit in the human hand and will have inscriptions denoting value, purpose, or meaning. These items may or may not have dates associated with them as they are often used for long periods of time before being retired. Metal works, objects, & decoration are housed in a separate collection.

First Night Farmington- "join the party!"- admission button for the 2017-2018 first night celebration. The button is a standard pressed metal, mass produced button, with pin back. The artwork for the button was created by artist, illustrator, and writer Stephanie Piro-Nolan.
Size: 2" circle
The museum has two copies. One is labled # 42, the other #28.

A Farmington Bicentennial, 1798-1998, commemorative key chain. The commemorative coin was made of pewter and it has a stainless steel chain and key ring. The decorative coin has impressions of the town seal, "1798-1998," "Town of Farmington," "New Hampshire," and "200 years" on the face.
