Non-divided back, black and white souvenir postcard "The Turn" Cocheco River, Farmington, NH. The river, with short white falls are in the foreground and trees along the river edge along the background, Postcard has footnote at bottom front which says "The Turn Cocheco River Farmington N.H" and "Published by C.W. <br />Whitehouse." <br /><br />Postcard is inscribed along the outer edges with the following message: <br /><br /><em>"Do you remember those sweet apples you found just before we reached the dam? The White Store Farmington NH Color Souvenir Postcard
The White Store Farmington, NH color souvenir postcard. The White Store was a well known department store. It carried dry goods, furniture, clothing for men, women, and children, decor, and other ready to carry, ready to wear goods. It faced Main Street with two full display windows on the ground floor, on either side of the entrance. The entire three story building was painted a bright, clean white color and had large banks of windows lining all outer walls of the second and third floor. A tall marketing pole, with the words" The White Store,"on all four sides was placed in the street adorned at the top with a five point yellow star. This postcard represents the store after electrification of the town as a line pole is visible to the left of the building. Non-divided back postcard. Postcard was stamped and was imprinted by the post office. Postcard was sent to Miss Gladys Ellis, Alton Bay, NH.

Early 20th Century Roberts-Peavey-Osgood Drugstore Advertising
Marketing and advertising from the early 20th Century for the Roberts-Peavey-Osgood drugstore in downtown Farmington. One item is a photo postcard from the Farmington postcard collection. It accounts the opening of the Odd Fellows Hall in 1896, where the Roberts drugstore stood. In 1953 the drugstore was sold to Twink Osgood.
These items are digital files and do not exist in the physical museum collection.

W L Peavey Ceramic Mug
A white glossy glazed ceramic mug with gold W L Peavey detail on the side of the container. The ceramic mug does look to be mass produced, and bares no mark or creative stamp. The letters appear to be hand painted as do the gold bands on the lower and upper portion of the cup. The mug belonged to "Mert" Peavey.
