1914 Souvenir R C White Postcard Old Home Day Citizens In Car Front Old High School
Souvenir R C White postcard divided back style, sepia, showing Old Home Day- ladies finely dressed with a driver, in a car parked in Front of the old High School in Farmington, NH. In middle ground another car can be seen to the left and a horse drawn carriage to the right with a driver, two young girls, and a gentlemen by an American flag blowing in the wind.
Ladies in the automobile are identified on the back of the postcard as Ells Chandler, Bertha Dexter, Grace Pike, and Crisse Tanner. The Postcard is addressed to Evelyn Brooks; it is not clear if it was ever sent. 1904 is written on the corner and has been changed to read 1914. The card is printed with the phrase "Genuine Photograph by R. C. White Farmington, N.H."

A hand colored souvenir postcard Farmington, NH with face featuring The Goodwin Library looking at the building's front, side profile from North Main Street. This two story Neo Classical, brick building is as it was originally built and does not have the back addition that would come later in the twentieth century. The Barker Block extension has not been built, so the north side of the library building does not touch the southern portion of the Barker Block building to the north. The windows in that north side are still in full view in this photo. The Pyhthian Block still stands behind the library building and the side of that building can be seen to the west side, behind library. Divided back postcard.

The White Store Farmington NH Color Souvenir Postcard
The White Store Farmington, NH color souvenir postcard. The White Store was a well known department store. It carried dry goods, furniture, clothing for men, women, and children, decor, and other ready to carry, ready to wear goods. It faced Main Street with two full display windows on the ground floor, on either side of the entrance. The entire three story building was painted a bright, clean white color and had large banks of windows lining all outer walls of the second and third floor. A tall marketing pole, with the words" The White Store,"on all four sides was placed in the street adorned at the top with a five point yellow star. This postcard represents the store after electrification of the town as a line pole is visible to the left of the building. Non-divided back postcard. Postcard was stamped and was imprinted by the post office. Postcard was sent to Miss Gladys Ellis, Alton Bay, NH.

Black & White Souvenir Postcard The Gray Family House
The F. S. Gray family house, black & white, Farmington, NH souvenir postcard. A large two story home, with extension to the south, and a small garage. It was painted a light color and had shutters, a wrap around front porch, and a box window. The house faced Main Street and was on the corner of Main and Union Street. Gray was an optician and jeweler and the family had rooms for let. Divided back postcard.
