Late 1800's photograph of the (Mills Market)Spring Street underwear mill and workers. All are named on the back and appear to be women, except Charlie Hayes, who is at the left of the women. All appear to be in work, day clothing. It is possible Charlie Hayes was foreman. The location is now called Mills Market, near where the electric light plant was. Sepia photograph is affixed to a board backing.
Size: 8.75" x 6"
Condition: Good. Slight wear. Fading of entire photograph. Right lower edge missing . Numerals, in ink, have been placed over each person to align with the key. This should be monitored over time as it make contribute to the degradation of the photograph.
