Farmington NH School Hand Constructed Settee
Description
Hand made, wooden settee from one of the early Farmington, NH schools. The seat flips up and reveals storage in the lower portions of the settee. Used at the Pine Bluff Cottage (Alton Bay, Lake Winnipesaukee) for many decades. Formerly owned by S.S. Parker of Farmington and S.P. Nute of Detroit, Michigan and heirs.
The Pine Bluff Cottage Register diary from 1929 indicates:
“Ned Parker says two old settees at camp came from the old Farmington school which was moved away when present H.S. was built in 1875.”

Size: Approximaitely 5'Wx 19.5" D x32"H -Seat Height 15" -Interior Storage 5'W x 19.5" D x 15" H
