Description

A geometric quilt made by Farmington NH resident Sarah A Horne Kelly. This is a full quilt with a rectangular shape. The quilt pieces are white and coral on the front and are square patterns made from triangular pieces . The center of each square is made of four opposing triangles, two white, opposite each other, and two coral opposite each other. That center square is surrounded by a border of smaller squares made of two triangles, one white and one coral opposite each other. The backing is a very simple light blue gray geometric on a solid white background.

Sarah A Horne Kelly was born in 1829 and died in 1918. She lived her whole life in Farmington. A photo of Sarah A. Horne Kelly is included with one photo of the quilt.

Condition: The quilt is in very good condition given its age with the except of one portion of damage to the fabric on the front
